BioDT project participates in the upcoming BES Symposium 2024, co-organised by the British Ecological Society and a consortium of esteemed environmental organisations. The symposium held at the University of Birmingham on June 24th and 25th, 2024, focuses on fostering collaboration and best practices in creating resilient landscapes for people, nature, and climate.

BioDT actively participates in the World Biodiversity Forum 2024, taking place from 17th to 20th June, 2024 at the Congress Centre in Davos, Switzerland. The event is dedicated to the conservation of biodiversity and the advancement of ecological research, offering a global platform for knowledge exchange on pressing environmental challenges.

On 27th May 2024, Shreshtha Sharma, a BioDT project partner, to deliver a keynote talk titled "Ideation in Action: Building a Global Digital Twin Platform for Biodiversity" at NeIC, the Nordic Conference 2024 in Tallinn, Estonia.

The Benelux Biodiversity Informatics community and partners are hosting the Empowering Biodiversity Research Conference (EBR III) on March 25-26th, 2024 at the Naturalis Biodiversity Center in Leiden, Netherlands.

Also this year, the BioDT project is proud to participate in the EuroHPC Summit 2024, taking place March 18-21 in Antwerp, Belgium. This annual event is a leading gathering for key European HPC stakeholders, bringing together industry leaders, scientific researchers, policymakers, and other key figures in the European high-performance computing (HPC) ecosystem.

The International FAIR Digital Objects Implementation Summit will be held on March 20th and 21st, 2024, in Berlin, Germany. Julian Lopez Gordillo from Naturalis, a BioDT project partner, will be presenting a paper co-authored with Sharif Islam.
