Our project matures daily and it is heartening to see our community growing as well. We are committed to keeping you well-informed about BioDT's progress and sharing noteworthy events and opportunities. Discover the art of citing biodiversity data with precision and expertise. Our panel of experts, drawn from leading biodiversity research infrastructures, will illuminate the path to effective dataset citation. Learn best practices that make data more discoverable, reusable, and ensure proper credit to those who collect and manage it.
We hope that you are all thoroughly enjoying the summer season, and we extend a warm welcome to a special edition of the BioDT Newsletter.
The primary purpose of this edition is to bring your attention to a forthcoming event organised by the Destination Earth initiative, which holds great interest both for the BioDT project and for our community.
Welcome to the second issue of our BioDT newsletter, which provides a quarterly update on our project journey.
BioDT is a Horizon Europe project where top European and global research infrastructures are working together to design and develop a digital twin prototype for the study and analysis of biodiversity.
In this issue we have an exciting update on our second event and introduce our research infrastructure partners in more detail. Make sure you check out our YouTube channel to see the videos from our webinars and workshops!
BioDT is a Horizon Europe project which kicked off in June 2022, where top European and global research infrastructures came together to design and develop a digital twin prototype for the study and analysis of biodiversity, in support of the EU Biodiversity Strategy for 2030.
The Biodiversity Digital Twin prototype will provide advanced models for simulation and prediction capabilities, through practical use cases addressing critical issues related to global biodiversity dynamics.
This is the first issue of our newsletter, which will follow this exciting journey with quarterly updates. Make sure you join our next webinar!
