
The spring is approaching fast, and the seeds planted long ago are starting to sprout. After three years of dedicated research, we are proud to share the outcomes of the BioDT project. We extend a warm welcome to this very special edition of the BioDT Newsletter. This edition focuses on a key milestone: the Final Event of BioDT Biodiversity Digital Twins and the Destination Earth Ecosystem, organised in collaboration with the Destination Earth (DestinE) initiative. Taking place on 3rd April 2025 in Rome, Italy, this exclusive in-person event will showcase BioDT’s achievements and its integration into the European Commission’s Digital Twin strategy. It is a unique opportunity for policymakers, researchers, and industry leaders to explore how BioDT is advancing biodiversity monitoring, predictive modelling, and ecosystem management within Europe’s digital ecosystem.
