BioDT's Role and Presentation
At this year's conference, the BioDT project holds a poster presentation by Simon Rolph from the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology. Scheduled for Thursday, December 12th from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM in Hall 2A, the poster (B17.10) explores the application of digital twin technology to ecological research. The presentation delves into the project's prototype digital twin focused on cultural ecosystem services in the Cairngorms National Park, highlighting both the transformative potential and current challenges of digital twin approaches in biodiversity monitoring and management.
