BioDT project manager, Jesse Harrison (CSC) participates at the 2nd Destination Earth (DestinE) User eXchange, taking place in Bonn, Germany, on November 13th and 14th, 2023, and co-organised by the European Space Agency (ESA), the European Organisation for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites (EUMETSAT) and the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF).
What is the Destination Earth (DestinE) User eXchange?
This event marks the second edition of the Destination Earth User eXchange series, which aims to establish a thriving platform for fruitful exchanges with DestinE stakeholders. As DestinE aims to develop - on a global scale - a highly accurate digital model of the Earth to monitor and predict the interaction between natural phenomena and human activities, a broad stakeholder engagement is key to the success of the initiative. As part of the European Commission’s Green Deal and Digital Strategy, DestinE will contribute to achieving the objectives of the twin transition, green and digital.
